La festa di Nostra Signora di Locusantu | The Feast of the Birth of Virgin Mary

8th September is the big day, the Feast of Maria Bambina, a heartfelt solemn parade that accompanies the statue of the Virgin Mary with joy and colors, with horses dressed in celebration, banners, a musical band, fusiliers, bell-bearers, porters, folk groups and the people in celebration. After the parade, the bishop Mons. Sebastiano Sanguinetti presides over the solemn Holy Mass in the main square.
