Church of San Lussorio

Located within the municipal area of Luogosanto but under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of Bassacutena, the Church of Santu Nussugliu (so called by the locals) was rebuilt in 1869, likely in the site of a place of worship of much older origin. It is built of granite, plastering and painted white, and inside the church there is a fresco by Leopoldo Compassini in 1993. Inside the church there is also a marble statue of San Lussorio, made by an anonymous sculptor, who was active in Gallura in the 17th century.
