Hermitage of San Trano and Nicola

A rock building of the 13th century built of granite and unique local stone altar. According to tradition, the church was built on the site where the bodies of holy hermits were found. The church stands on a granite dome and nearby there are the remains of what was assumed to have been their home. The two saints are remembered and celebrated on the first Sunday of June with a procession in the evening and a great feast on the following day.
