Casa Depperu

Casa Depperu is a stately palace that belonged to a judge, Angelino Depperu, and is located in the square in front of the parish church dedicated to Madonna del Rosario (Our Lady of the Rosary). Its construction dates back to the 19th century and is a true architectural gem. The ten elegant rooms that compose it are fully furnished and painted in pure Art Nouveau. It was during a session of the City Council that the keys of this property were symbolically handed over by the Depperu family in Luras. Today, a proposed project idea has been to transform the palace into a tourist circuit, along with other local amenities such as museums, churches and palaces - some already belonging to the Commune of Luras.
