Lake Liscia

Lake Liscia is the artificial lake of Gallura, created by the construction of a dam on the Liscia river in the early 1960s and is an important source of water for most of Gallura. The surrounding nature is spectacular and varied, alternating rocks sculpted by water and wind, oak forests and plants typical of the Mediterranean. Throughout the year, the lake is visited by lovers of nature and outdoor sports, such as walking, canoeing and fishing, as well as by those who discover it by boats. Many tourists come to the lake by the famous Green Train of Sardinia.
